NDIS BY PROFESSION
How Your Profession Fits Into The NDIS
A guide for various professionals on how they can work within the NDIS to support disability services.
NDIS By Profession
Understanding Your Role Within The NDIS Framework
The NDIS needs a variety of professionals, not just nurses and support workers, to provide well-rounded care for participants. Each profession offers unique skills that help meet the different needs of people with disabilities.
For example, architects design accessible spaces, accountants manage finances, art therapists provide creative therapy, and audiologists handle hearing services.
To work with the NDIS, each profession must meet certain criteria, like having the right certifications or memberships. Below given guide gives a quick overview of what qualifications and experience are needed for different professions to work within the NDIS.
